Click the box next to ' Sync Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drawings files to this computer so that you can edit offline. Google Drive is a cloud-based storage solution that allows you to save files online and access them anywhere from any smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner of your browser.

Now, either change the permission or turn off link sharing.

Users may either close these documents or visit directly. Step 2: To turn off link sharing or change the permission, click on the ‘Anyone with the link’ box.

Once it is done, the documents will be available to be accessed offline. Google Drive is a cloud storage service, and like all cloud services, its primary function is to take some load off your hard drive.

Visit Google Drive either by clicking the Drive Icon or by visiting while you are online, and the sync process will begin automatically.
